Gareth Jones Toronto

Gareth joined Hakluyt in 2025.

Prior to Hakluyt, he held senior energy and infrastructure investment roles at The Carlyle Group and Merrill Lynch Commodities, and worked at Lazard in technology merchant banking. In the public sector, he was a senior external adviser to the Canadian government on infrastructure finance, and led various strategic commercial negotiations, including Canada’s investment in Telesat Lightspeed.

Gareth holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Northwestern University.
