Hakluyt’s financial results for 2019-20 May 2021
Hakluyt’s 2019-20 accounts (year-end 30 June 2020), which have been filed at Companies House, show that performance was strong, with revenue up by 7.1%, from £62.8 million to a record £67.2 million, and profit up by 12.9%, from £8.6m to £9.7m.
The increase in revenue was due to continuing geographical expansion, strengthened client relationships, and the extension of services offered.
Varun Chandra, Hakluyt’s managing partner, commented: “I am delighted that our 2019-20 financial year was so successful, despite the final quarter coinciding with the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. I’m also extremely pleased with our progress this year, during which we have returned to the pre-pandemic trajectory of sustainable double-digit top- and bottom-line growth. This reflects the hard work of all of our teams around the world, and I hope everyone in the firm is proud of what we have achieved.”
