Rachel Ryan London

Rachel joined Hakluyt in 2021.

Before Hakluyt, she spent ten years as an officer in the British Army, deploying on four operational tours and latterly supporting specialist operations. She was also seconded to the UK Department of Health to work on the response to COVID-19.

Rachel is a graduate of Durham University, and an adviser to Frontier Collective, which works to protect wild spaces in Africa.
