John Brodhead Toronto

John joined Hakluyt in 2023.

Prior to Hakluyt, he was director of policy and a senior adviser to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. He has held a variety of other government roles, including as chief of staff to the federal ministers of infrastructure and indigenous services, and as deputy chief of staff to the premier of Ontario.

John has also worked on Alphabet’s Sidewalk Labs project, and in the non-profit sector on affordable housing and urban innovation and sustainability issues.
