Professor Joseph Fuller

Professor of Management Practice,

Joe founded, and co-leads, HBS’s Managing the Future of Work Project and Harvard University’s Project on the Workforce. He also serves on the boards of Aera Technology and Helios Consulting, is chair of the board of trustees of Western Governors University, and is a senior visiting fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. Joe’s research on how employers’ policies shape low-wage workers’ prospects formed the basis of his article ‘The High Cost of Neglecting Low-Wage Workers’, written with Manjari Raman, which won the Warren Bennis Prize for the best article on leadership published in the Harvard Business Review in 2023. Earlier in his career, Joe co-founded the consulting firm Monitor Group (now Monitor Deloitte), eventually becoming the CEO of the firm’s commercial consulting operations.
