Pat joined Hakluyt in 2018.

Before then, he was an adviser to former UK Prime Minister Theresa May, a senior associate with Boston Consulting Group in London, a research fellow for the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, a solicitor with the international law firm, Allens, and a speechwriter for former Australian Prime Minister John Howard.

Pat is a graduate of the University of Oxford and the University of Sydney, and also chairs his alumni association, Rhodes Scholars in Britain.
