Nick Barnes appointed chair of the National Theatre’s corporate development board April 2023
Hakluyt is delighted to announce that Nick Barnes, a partner in our London office, has been appointed chair of the National Theatre’s corporate development board.
The board is responsible for building and nurturing the vital partnerships that enable the theatre to create world-class productions and deliver impactful engagement programmes across the UK.
Commenting on his appointment, Nick said: “As a member of the corporate development board for the past two years, I’ve seen how important these partnerships are to the National Theatre. They ensure that this incredible institution, which is justly admired across the world, can continue developing outstanding productions, and expand its work to inspire and support the next generation of creative talent. I am very excited to be taking on the role of chair, and I look forward to working with my fellow board members and our fantastic corporate partners to make theatre more accessible, inclusive and sustainable.”
